We spend a reasonable amount on Google adwords each month but I’m finding that the amount we have to bid is going up all the time and it is no longer cost effective. The problem seems to be that there are some big players like Regus competing for the term “virtual office”. I guess they are hoping to get customer who really want a serviced office, or at least the use of smart conference rooms, and they anticipate these customers will spend several hundred pounds per month. On that basis I guess they can justify paying something like £8 to £10 per click on Google for the term virtual office. But that’s a lot of money to get someone to look at your website. We are doing fine in the natural listings on Google so I’m going to stick to that and may be do a trial with facebook ads.
